I know it’s only June, but c’mon. This is always funny.
no longer have crazy emotional rants on them. Sure, I disagreed with this bishop’s comparison of Obama to Hitler and Stalin, but I would disagree with anyone comparing ANYBODY to those monsters. Yuck.
I am in college, a public college in Nebraska that still has more Democrats than the Catholic schools I attended for grade school and high school. I have learned a lot, from teachers and students alike, and now, I am uncertain where I stand.
Hence, my new non-partisan voter’s registration.
Being in school, I have had an awful lot to read, and so have not kept up with the newspapers. Most of what I hear about the political scene comes from students in the Fine Arts program (Democrats, and a few Marxists, and an anarchist or two), liberal teachers, hardcore Republican high school classmates, Fox News, The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. Not really an unbiased group of sources.
This summer, however, I plan to watch CNN, take advantage of the freenewspapers at UNO, and really research my vote.
Because this fall will be the first time I cast a vote, and I want it to be an informed one.
